International property consultancy Rahim & Co pointed out that as house prices in Malaysia rise, affordability is the primary concern of homebuyers. Based on the median multiple indicator, houses is the four states are "unaffordable", especially in Kuala Lumpur, where families need to save their entire income for up to 7.6 years to afford a mid-priced terrace house in Kuala Lumpur.
